Gaining Nidd Realty Limited's annual top sales awards since 2010 have been stand-out achievements in my real estate career. Since moving from journalism to real estate in 2007, I have been thrilled with the results achieved and pleased to have been able to assist so many people.
A major focus of my career in real estate is to provide outstanding communication and to make the process of acquiring and changing properties as easy as possible. After winning the company's rookie of the year award in 2007-08, my sales totals have been consistently among the top attained and I am continuing to set and meet high targets, achieving close to an average of $1 million a month in sales and now exceeding a total of more than $100 million.
Following more than 30 years as a journalist in New Zealand, Australia and the UK, I have found many parallels between the two careers. I believe the key ingredient in real estate, as in journalism, is people and I enjoy mixing with people from all walks of life.
