Jake Paddon Enduro Mountain Bike Athlete

Nidd Realty has just sponsored Jake Paddon for his run towards the Enduro World Series. Jake has been racing mountain bikes for 7 years, and over the last 3 years has focused specifically on Enduro Mountain Bike racing. Both in 2014 and 2015 he travelled to Europe to compete in several rounds of the Enduro World Series. This experience was a major step towards his goal of being World Champion.

Spending the last two summers in Europe, he was able to ride every day and race every weekend. For 2016 he decided to stay in New Zealand and focus on training and competing in local and national races. he has also raced two rounds of the Enduro World Series qualifying races this year in Australia to try and gain automatic entry for next years’ World Series. He has one race in this series to go which is here in Dunedin, the 3 Peaks Enduro where he is aiming for a top 5 result!

Jake intends to travel overseas in 2017 to race the whole Enduro World Series and keep progressing towards his ultimate goal. He can’t wait for the summer of racing to start and keep working towards racing internationally in 2017.
