There is under house access and storage. The home is insulated where possible and there is both a heat-pump and a wood burner to keep you warm in the cooler months.

It is only 10 minutes to the town of Port Chalmers where you’ll find inviting cafes and designer shops, as well as a Hotel and local supermarket, and the Orokonui Ecosanctuary is nearby.
