For month of January 2022 our team maintained a 0.9% vacancy rate within the portfolio, advertising on average 5 properties at any one time, with the demand being focused on 3-bedroom properties. We rented 6 properties within an average of 23 days at an average price of $400 per week.

There has been an average of 298 properties listed on TradeMe for the month of January 2022 which is 15% less than that in January 2021.

We are continuing to receive an increased level of enquiry from first time renters urgently needing accommodation so that they can move to Dunedin to commence their studies. This is something that we experienced last year (2021) further highlighting the increased enrolment of a diverse range of students at the University of Otago & Otago Polytech.
